Fundamental Nursing Lab
 

The Fundamental Nursing Lab is located in Room 301 and Room 309 of the main building of the College of Nursing. This lab is used for lectures and self-studies of fundamental nursing during the sophomore year of nursing students. This lab provides practice materials, models, and educational videotapes for fundamental nursing practice. In the lab, equipment, such as beds, hot water-makers, VTR sets, and multipurpose models, is available.

Basic Nursing Science Lab
 

The Basic Nursing Science Lab is located in Room 307 of the main building of the College of Nursing. This lab has equipment and materials used for actual practice in basic nursing science related subjects such as anatomy, physiology, etc.

Computer Education Room
 

The Computer Education Room is located in Room 304 of the main building of the College of Nursing. There are 30 personal computers and one printer. Each computer is linked within Seoul National University by LAN..

Statistics Consulting Lab
 

The Statistics Consulting Lab was established in January 1992. The purpose of this laboratory is to help nursing researchers by consulting on the application of statistical methods. This lab also assists in the analysis and management of statistical data by using the various developed statistical methods.

Three professors and two researchers work at the lab. It is equipped with five computers and three printers. Because the computers are connected with a CD-ROM of the Medical Library and the Main Computer Center of SNU by LAN, users can make use of the various resources from these facilities.

Archives Room
 

The archives Room is located on the second floor of main building of the College of Nursing. It helps students with its collection of domestic nursing science journals, doctoral theses, and books on the area of nursing. The Archives Room is open from 09:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday, and 09:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Exercise Program Room
 

There are two Exercise Program Rooms on the Yon-gun campus. One is located in Room 101 of the old building of the College of Nursing. The other, called, the Health Promotion Center, is located on the 1st floor of the Annex of the College of Dentistry. There are various kinds of exercise equipment. Students and staff can use its equipment for training the body and mind, or to do research.

Assembly Hall
 

The Assembly Hall is located on the 1st and 2nd floor of the main building of the College of Nursing. Its size reaches 260§³ and can accomodate 240 people. It has advanced multimedia equipment for audio-visual education and scientific conferences.

Hamchunsa (Dormitory)
 

The College of Nursing at Seoul National University operates a dormitory, Hamchunsa, for the convenience of juniors and seniors going through clinical practice. Hamchunsa was first opened in 1961 with the support from the University of Minnesota and was rebuilt several times thereafter. A new dormitory building has been constructed by the support of the government and will open in 2006.

The new Hamchunsa is an eight-story building, consisting of 24 apartments where six students are able to live together. Each apartment has three rooms, two bathrooms, and a living room. They are furnished for the comfort and convenience of the residents. Fingerprint door locks have been installed on the main and side entrances, and each apartment is prepared with a digital door for the security and protection of the students. A computer room, self-learning room, physical training center, lounge, and laundry room are located on the underground level. In addition, 'Hamchun Garden' and 'Palace View Balcomy,' where the students can get fresh air and relax, are located on the first and underground level.

In Hamchunsa, a professor of the College of Nursing works for a dormitory dean every two years and a resident graduate student is on duty as the assistant dean. She guides and counsels on students' overall college life. Administrative method related to dormitory management and entering/leaving a dormitory is overseen by a college employee.

Medical Library

The Medical Library, located on Yeongeon campus, is available to all students in the College of Nursing, College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, and the Graduate School of Public Health as well as the Seoul National University Hospital faculty and more. The library is located in the south-western part of the Basic Medical Science Building, and it is also linked with general laboratories. It is divided as follows: the 1st floor as the reading room for books on various topics, the 2nd floor as the Scientific Information Management Center, and the 3rd floor as the free reading room. The total number of the books in the library is 150,000 and these are always available. The publications and books on various topics are classified by the Dewey Decimal Classification (D.D.C) system, the classification system of medical libraries in United States. The publications are sorted alphabetically. Persons who wish to borrow these books has only to present a valid ID. If there are any questions or requests in finding specific references, please ask the librarian.

Seoul National University Hospital.

The Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) was reorganized in 1946 from the University of Kyung Sung Hospital to a form of an appendage of Seoul National University. SNUH formed to be an appendage of the College of Medicine, S.N.U. in 1949. As the new hospital building was completed in 1978, SNUH became independent as a corporate hospital with special status. SNUH has decided its three goals to be education, research, and medical examination, and has contributed to the scholastic development and promotion of public health through these goals. Juniors and seniors have actual practice at SNUH wards during the two years and eventually succeed to have great experiences.
